Pledge Purple
Pledge Purple is a yearlong initiative, focused on programming, education, and resources on sexual violence, harassment, and bullying, promoting a safe and welcoming community. The university provides focused programming from multiple departments throughout the academic year.
The Pledge: “I will not use my hands or words in acts of bullying, hazing, sexual assault, or other forms of violence. I will educate myself and others about what forms of violence look like in the Pirate community. I will support my community and safely intervene as an active bystander if I witness acts of violence.”
